A position within the Supply Chain Department of Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Contract Manufacturing Coordinator will be responsible for external warehouse logistics, production planning at co-pack facilities, analyzing short shipments, and outsourced purchasing.
Pay range: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Fresno, CA
Core Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
- Analyze sales trends and forecast accuracy.
- Create production plans and work with Contract Manufactures to ensure production runs are complete.
- Analyze inventory levels to ensure best in class service levels.
- Provide direction on inventory movement between each distribution facility.
- Place purchase orders for finished products and arrange transportation.
- Operate and analyze material requirement planning software.
- Purchase materials from vendors as needed.
- Approve and prepare invoices for payments.
- Other tasks duties as assigned, by the Manager of Supply Chain.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful communication between all levels of management, within the organization and externally.
- Skilled in Microsoft, Excel and Word.
- Experience with order management or ERP software.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to develop, lead, motivate, and manage a successful team.
- Ability to work independently, take direction and delegate accordingly.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or one to three years of supply chain experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
