CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to create and develop high-performing, scalable, and reusable code for mobile applications. Design high-quality mobile application architectures that are secure, maintainable, and highly reliable. Improve existing application functionality, create new features, and integrate third- party software development kits. Troubleshoot and debug code to eliminate memory leaks and application crashes and to optimize performance. Leverage application languages and frameworks to speed up time-to-market using proven technology stacks. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with building complex end-to-end applications with Android operating systems and architecture. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with developing user interfaces for Android applications; 5 years of experience developing components and screens for mobile platforms and device resolutions, including with mobile phones, foldable phones, and tablets; 5 years of experience with implementing testing frameworks and executing unit testing; 5 years of experience with APIs, HTTP headers, JSON, and security tokens; 4 years of experience with implementing software design patterns and architecture; and 1 year of experience with running applications on iOS platforms. Part-time telecommuting may be permitted.
