Summary of Role:

The Product Line Operations role will play a critical part in the execution of a new demand planning process within the GlobalFoundries’ ULP CMOS Product Line. This is a new role, on a new team, in a very exciting company and industry.  This role will be critical to driving our results in managing and executing the day-to-day business operations of the Product Line, including functions like demand planning, supply management, revenue & PO management, and financial reporting with a focus on maximizing profitability and executing to financial goals for the product line. Responsibilities include demand forecasting, supply management, opportunity funnel management, data analysis & revenue reporting, and collaboration with internal teams.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demand forecasting and planning: Analyzing market trends and customer demand pattern to generate and maintain the monthly PL forecast by customer, technology, and device level with the goal to achieve target forecast accuracy.  Represent the PL in the monthly demand planning meeting with Sales and CDP teams to reconcile differences.
  • Supply management: Collaborating with fab planning and Sales account teams to optimize loading to the fab with the goal to achieve optimum utilization and profitability for the PL; and support assigned customer expedites.
  • Revenue & PO management: Attend monthly Sales forecast meetings across regions to review updates in the customer forecast, noting any risks & opportunities for the PL.  Drive closure of assigned action items relating to quarterly revenue & POs with the Sales team. 
  • Design and Tape-out revenue management: Collaborating with sales teams across regions to track sales performance including design funnel, design wins & tape-out revenue on a monthly to quarterly basis.  Provide monthly updates to PL management, tracking progress to KPIs, conversion rates, and driving actions on risks and opportunities.
  • Product pricing support: Collaborating with Sales to support opportunity-based pricing requests, RFQs, and assigned pricing initiatives.
  • Performance reporting and analysis: Developing key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking operational metrics, and providing insights to leadership on overall business performance.
  • Process improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline operations, implement lean methodologies, and optimize workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Strategic planning: Modeling business unit market opportunity and supporting the development and execution of the long-range strategic plan
  • Product promotion: Collaborating across the enterprise, and within the product line, to support the creation of technical white papers, promotional material, and Go-To-Market documents for ULP CMOS technology platforms

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry.  Foundry experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). 
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry dynamics. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight timelines. 
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maste's or PhD in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 is a plus) and supply chain management tools.
