Description:

We are looking for Junior Software Developer Applications to formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Has full technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Understands the business or function for which application is designed. Duties also include instructing, directing and checking the work of other systems analysts and programming personnel. The candidate must have at least 2 year of software programming work experience and interested in working with third party code vendors and maintaining customized systems. Active IRS MBI clearance is a MUST for this role.

Additional information:

• Any experience with Image scanning solution with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology related to document processing is a plus.
• Troubleshooting experience may be in any area as long as the candidate is very good at troubleshooting in general.
• Please note that the candidate may begin working with code when the interim MBI approval is received.

Security requirements:

• Candidates must be able to pass an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBS) security background check. Candidate must be up to date on all tax filing and payments, if not, candidate will not be considered.
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
