About the role
This position is responsible for managing and developing a defined region representing Aristocrat Technologies to achieve sales revenue and profit targets, including new business development prospects selling Oasis, our Digital Portfolio, and third-party products.
This position also requires the flexibility to act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.

What You'll Do
- Partners with Management and the Product Marketing Team on high-impact demos to selective customers when an extremely detailed and consultative sales approach is needed.
- Performs ongoing assessments of the territory needs of the system from a marketing and sales perspective.
- Leads and coordinates new business development efforts by hunting RFP’s or new sales opportunities in the territory. Also, responsible for coordinating the appropriate response and ensuring compliance.
- Responsible for new business development via prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing sales contracts for the Aristocrat portfolio of products and services.
- Performs consultative sales and promotion of the Aristocrat product portfolio within an assigned territory.
- Emphasizes product features based on analysis of customers’ needs and technical knowledge.
- Quotes prices, credit terms, and other bid specifications in compliance with ATI operational processes and policies.
- Negotiates terms of sales and service agreements in compliance with ATI policy.
- Coordinates with legal and compliance to prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Identifies prospective customers via business directories, leads from existing clients, industry networks, trade publications, and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
- Implements market development activities within assigned territory
- Manages personal travel itinerary and sales expenses consistent with ATI travel and expense policy and practices.
- Develops and maintains territory coverage plans and provides accurate regular sales forecasts and reports with proper Salesforce upkeep weekly.
- Responds to customers’ questions regarding products, prices, jurisdiction availability, licensing, uses, and credit terms.
- Assists customers in selecting the appropriate product configuration based on customers’ needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinates with Project Management and Customer Service staff to define a plan for system implementation and customer support.
- Manages client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Maintains ongoing communication with Aristocrat Product Marketing and Customer Support Staff to ensure customer feedback/requirements are communicated regularly and customers are satisfied with products and services.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Management, or Computer Science or Technology based degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Sales experience with consultative and competitive sales experience in the Casino or Technology Industries, and proven success in defining customer requirements and solutions. Consistent track record of meeting assigned quotas, closing sales, and resolving customer issues. Strong sales development or business development experience requiring executive-level presentations/communications in a casino sales environment is preferred. Prior hospitality or gaming system experience is preferred. A person should have demonstrated knowledge of business operations and contract negotiations.
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
- Intermediate and above-level understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and efficiently (verbal and written) with all levels of the business.
- Must be able to obtain and retain gaming licensure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical background, with experience in Casino Management Systems
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information regarding the company, products, and employee information.
- Must have demonstrated experience in multi-level, consultative hardware and software sales with specific experience in replacing competitor’s systems.
- This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
