Job Summary:
The My Epic Gear Assistant Manager is responsible for providing high-end customer service and store support along with leadership in our business. The Assistant Manager acts as a location specific leadership, ensuring quality control that delivers an experience of a lifetime for our Employees and Members. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional guest service, strong organizational skills, willingness to learn multiple software programs, and the ability to work with a team or autonomously.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $28.58/hr
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
- Housing Availability: No
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll. Act as manager- on-duty in the absence of a Store Manager.
- Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessary
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and provide excellent customer service through timely response to customer questions, suggestions, complaints, and recognition
- Participate with leadership forums providing feedback and input on store performance, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Oversee all daily and weekly tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Oversee and assist with gear preparations and delivery for upcoming My Epic Gear reservations
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Keen to learn new skills, open-minded, and can adapt to changing situations
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs, and stand or kneel for 8 hours sometimes outside and in winter conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required
The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $28.58/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
