Summary

Baker is looking for you! Are you a skilled laborer who is able to get on federal projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to work on one of our largest projects in the Norfolk area yet! NNIT is a 3-year project with opportunities for both technical and career growth! Come join our team as we begin this exciting project! 

• We offer per diem for any travelers! 

The Laborer is responsible for carrying out logistics, equipment and material handling and assisting with installation of work, all under the direction of jobsite supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Laborer will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.

 

• Performs General Labor Duties
• Ensures a Safe Work Environment
• Participates in Training/Certifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Must have a TWIC Card in hand
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be skilled in vibrating concrete
• Stripping formwork
• Groundman/Bucketman experience
• Experienced laborer in concrete
