Compensation for this position is set at $31/hour.

This person will need to work hybrid from our Seattle office location two to three days per week.

Accolade's internship program runs June 9th-August 15th, 2025.

Role overview:

 

  • As a Full Stack Software Development Engineering intern, you will be an integral part of our development team, working on real-world projects that impact our users.  

  • You'll collaborate with experienced developers to design, implement, and test new features, as well as help maintain and improve existing code.  

  • This role will provide hands-on experience with our tech stack, development processes, and best practices in software engineering.  

  • You'll also participate in code reviews, team meetings, and learning sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to our innovative solutions. 

 

A day in the life… 

 

  • Attending a daily stand-up meeting with the development team to discuss progress, plans, and any blockers.  

  • Working on assigned tasks or user stories, such as implementing a new feature, fixing bugs, or optimizing existing code.  

  • Collaborating with designers and product managers to ensure the implementation aligns with user requirements and design specifications.  

  • Participating in code reviews. Attending learning sessions or workshops to expand your knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies.  

  • Testing and debugging your code to ensure it meets quality standards and performs as expected.  

  • Updating project management tools (e.g., Jira) to reflect task progress and communicate status to the team. 

 

 

What we are looking for (requirements) 

 

  • Has or is working to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related degree/ 

  • Bootcamp graduates welcome! 

  • Ability to come into the Accolade Seattle office 3 days per week 

  • Proficiency in JavaScript / Python / SQL
