Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support, for over 80 years. We we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. We are looking for a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This clinician will provide clinical services under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist.  The clinician will provide individual, group and consultation services for adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Works collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure equality, state-of-the-art, cost-effective services to all individuals served and their families. 

• Degree in Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• NYS State Licensure, active and in good standing
• Experience is helpful, but we will consider new graduates for this position
• Ability to work with a team to collaborate and care for the whole person
• Knowledge of and ability to effectively use an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team

   Compensation for this position is $26.50-$30.40 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
