Overview
Lead and manage the development, implementation and coordination of projects. Advise, coordinate and oversee the work of operational leaders serving as project managers. Coordinate project activities with various internal and external consultants. Work closely with executive and operational sponsors to ensure overall success.Responsibilities
Project Management and Coordination: Develops and implements comprehensive work plans and tracking systems to assure that projects are delivered within scope, on time and on budget. Monitors and manages project execution. Coordinates work of various external and internal parties to assure--------------------------------------------------Communication: Facilitates communication through an effectively executed communication plan. Reports project progress with appropriate leaders on a regular basis. Coordinates visual management both at mission control and at various project sites. Creates and oversees the management of a collaborative environment (Sharepoint, etc.) to make library of documents, etc. available to key stakeholders.--------------------------------------------------Serves as a leadership resource for project management: Mentors operational project managers in project planning, reporting, etc. Helps leaders anticipate and prepare for various projects/work streams. Helps minimize disruption to the flow of operations when implementing key initiatives.--------------------------------------------------Demonstrates respect for people and continuous process improvement: Provides evaluation of project processes for completed events to drive continuous process improvement. Synthesizes Reinventing Care project learnings to collaboratively plan, implement and support continuous process improvement to develop best practices, remove process waste and optimize outcomes.--------------------------------------------------Qualifications
EDUCATION:Bachelors, RequiredMasters, PreferredPrefer degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Project Management or related field. EXPERIENCE:Five years? experience and proven track record in leading complex, multi-phased, enterprise-wide healthcare projects. The successful candidate will have the ability to coordinate the work of others and lead and influence in a complex, highly matrixed organization.
