They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive this expansion and help position the company as a leading multi-disciplined structural repair contractor in the UK market.

Job Description

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping London Structural Repairs’ growth strategy as it transitions from a referral-based business to a structured, market-driven organization. This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction or civil engineering , strong commercial acumen, and the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with leadership to develop and implement business plans , refine market positioning, and strengthen operational structures to support long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and structural repair sectors.

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to guide pricing and tendering strategies.

  • Strengthen and expand relationships with clients, structural engineers, and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with leadership on recruitment, organizational structure, and brand positioning.

  • Track performance metrics and present progress reports against growth targets.

  • Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, and partnership documents.

  • Advise on marketing and lead-generation strategies that complement the company’s B2B focus.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within construction or civil engineering .

  • Understanding of structural repairs, concrete works, or similar technical services is a plus

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, forecast sales, and identify market trends.

  • Proactive, strategic thinker capable of driving measurable growth.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup aligned with UK hours.

  • Bonus: Experience in UK tendering, project bidding, or strategic partnerships in construction.
