Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Professional Expectations: In addition to the Employee Handbook and the Faculty Procedures Handbook, the Expectations of Teachers Aide include but are not limited to the following:

Provide support for classroom teachers as needed:
Duty coverage
Working with small groups
Working with individual students
Accompanying students to Specials
Regular communication with the classroom teacher
Organizing/implementing creative projects
Support during specials as needed
Monitor behaviors in the classroom as needed/appropriate
Work with struggling learners and high-ability/high-achieving learners
While the main focus of this position is working with students, there may also be some clerical classroom work as well.
