Providence is calling a Senior Reimbursement Manager, Medicare / Medicaid who will:

• Analyze and communicate the financial implications of federal and state legislation and regulatory activity
• Be responsible for various complex strategic initiatives throughout the organization including various cost based optimization strategies, and any reimbursement methodology related to Medicare and Medicaid
• Be responsible for operational implementation of various strategic reimbursement initiatives and proactive reimbursement guidance for the system including but not limited to: Evaluation, Planning and Coordination

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics/Statistics -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 7+ years of experience in finance, operations or regulatory compliance with expert level knowledge of current reimbursement and reporting rules and regulations

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Healthcare
• Upon Hire: CPA
• 7+ years of experience in consulting within a multi-hospital system or Medicare Administrative Contract
• 2+ years of experience in program management
• Advanced level knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid reimbursement and reporting rules and regulations
