ICF is seeking an IT Project Manager to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Growth, Engagement, and Innovation group. This position requires management consulting and experience with managing Canadian contracts, including project oversight, client management, and team management.
What you will be doing:
- Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and be able to lead the decision-making related improvements relative to technology
- Work with a team of junior and senior technologists and to deliver solutions for clients
- Track scope and changes throughout implementation, keeping stakeholders notified of anticipated completion dates
- Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
- Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
- Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Providing hands-on support to implement project changes, updates, analysis and IT delivery
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree (Candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
- 5+ years of experience in IT
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in MS Office products, such as Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Experience managing technical and non-technical cross functional teams
What we would like you to have:
- Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plus
- Familiarity with system and data integration practices
- Strong data analysis experience and skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
