The Systems Engineer position is remote, requires 50% or more travel, and the candidate must be located in Tennessee or Kentucky or willing to relocate without assistance. If you relocate, a sign-on bonus may be provided.

 

How You'll help us to connect the world:

The Systems Engineer provides customer and/or partner-focused technical sales support and influencing, technical management of the account, and is the trusted advisor.  The Systems Engineer works as a team, along with a Territory Account Manager(s) to sell RUCKUS networking solutions through a network of channel partners. The position of Systems Engineer will perform consultative solutions-based discussions to all levels of decision-makers. It will also provide technical demos, architectural and best practice designs, proof of concept trials, training, and presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and at events. 

 

The successful candidate will be a proficient self-starter with strong technical skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills with proven experience as a customer or partner-facing Systems Engineer. The preferred candidate will also possess working knowledge of the RUCKUS wireless and wired portfolio and related technologies. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales engineering network design, radio frequency passive and/or active planning, bill of material creation, sales opportunity engagement, and technical training individually or in larger group settings

  • Identifying and driving the development of a territory account plan based on awareness of the business economics and trends of the industries, including vertical markets

  • Have a working knowledge of RUCKUS Networks wireless, wired and software solutions

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners with the ability to differentiate and competitively position RUCKUS solutions

  • Assist the Territory and/or Partner Account Manager in driving revenue and selling solutions to achieve quota goals
