Responsibilities
Collect, evaluate, and synthesize data from industry and DoD stakeholders through facilitated working discussions.
Draft documents that summarize collected data from research and discussions effectively capturing implications to relay accurate messaging.
Develop engagement narratives and delegate the development of internal and external IBP deliverables to support the engagement process.
Liaise between IBP, the DoD, and industry stakeholders to enhance communication and transparency in engagement processes.
Schedule engagements, vehicle, and attendee registration.
Build and maintain trusted partner relations with USD(A&S), ASD(IBP), IBP leadership, and industry partners.
Create presentations with charts and graphs to present to higher-ups and management.
Define key roles and responsibilities and develop an implementation plan for execution of work.
Track task progress using tools such as Gantt charts, SOPs, and checklists to ensure compliance and manage leadership expectations.
Document post-engagement action items and lessons learned for continuous process improvement.
Review, edit, and ensure accuracy of documents prior to release to government officials. Ensure documents adhere to OUSD (A&S) staff instructions and apply staff formatting templates to all correspondence.
Qualifications
- Secret clearance is required with the ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI.
- 3- 5 years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal agencies in business process analysis, data collection, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively relay research findings and proper messaging to/from DoD leadership and in deliverables/documents assisting industry/DoD engagements.
- Technical writing experience; creating formal documents with correct format, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to think outside the box and perform comprehensive quality research.
- Knowledge of the defense industry and economics is highly desirable; the capability to gain extensive knowledge in researched areas is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

- High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
- Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
