 This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis

 

Job Location: Remote

Schedule:  M-F (8am – 5pm)

Duration: 18-month contract

Pay rate: $10,000 - $12,000+ /month

 

Must be able to work as W2 employee

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

 

• Design and execute test scenarios and cases for Java-based applications using Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Git & Github, and Jira.
• Work independently on test execution and delivery, ensuring high-quality software releases.
• Script automation tests in Java-based frameworks to automate testing processes.
• Execute feature, regression, end-to-end, and smoke testing strategies for large applications developed across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot complex web and mobile automated testing failures using industry-standard frameworks and in-house developed tooling.
• Collaborate with developers to triage and resolve testing issues quickly.
• Work with backend partners to troubleshoot dependency failures and improve end-to-end testing reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with quality processes and concepts to ensure best practices are followed in testing activities.

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Git & Github, and Jira.
• Experience in designing and executing test scenarios and cases for Java-based applications.
• Ability to work independently and drive testing activities to successful completion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex testing issues.
• Knowledge of automation testing best practices and frameworks.
• Experience in working with backend partners to improve testing reliability.
