Veterinary Referral Coordinator

Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is excited to announce we are looking for a Veterinary Referral Coordinator to join our team!

About the job: Your main focus will be to build relationships with the surrounding hospitals that refer their patients over to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital while also acting as a liaison for any questions or concerns they may have

How you'll make a difference

• Build and maintain relationships with the surrounding community
• Be a representative of a large specialty practice 
• Set up Continual Education events / lunch and learns
• Introduce Wheat Ridge DVMs to members of our local referring clinics
• Attend local events associated with the veterinary medicine community
• Work closely with the Hospital Director to streamline the process of our referral system

What you will bring 

• 5+ years working in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered Veterinary Technician preferred, but not required
• Basic understanding of veterinary clinics in the local area
• Comprise Data Analytics reports
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Create your own schedule to visit clinics
• Address any questions or concerns clinics may have about referral process
• Relaying information to hospital management about referral clinics experiences with Wheat Ridge and resolve any issues if necessary

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Salary: $28.00 - $34.00 / hour, based on experience
