Your Purpose 

We are currently seeking a Localization Project Coordinator to join the Design team at Bitso. If you are a flexibile, proactive and resourceful professional, willing to learn and grow alongside our talented team, we want to hear from you!

As a Localization Project Coordinator, you will be managing localization requests from the start until their successful completion, helping us deliver high-quality products to Bitso users in every country where we operate. 

As the single point of accountability between Localization and other stakeholders, you will play a critical role in maintaining good relationships and building alignment, coordinating our internal and external localization workflows, providing support, as well as contributing with ideas to improve our Localization program.

Who You Are 

Failure to meet any of the following required qualifications could result in an automatic rejection. 

• Proven English fluency. It will be a plus if you speak Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area.
• At least 2 years of previous work experience in a similar role.
• General understanding of localization tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Basic project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Effective interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Proven track record of working with and supporting multiple points of contact, including procurement and accounts payable.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with tools such as Lokalise, Jira, Slack, and Confluence.

 

What You Will Do 

• Coordinate internal and external localization requests end-to-end, ensuring on-time and high-quality deliveries within budget.

• Work with our TMS tools and other technologies to kick off, track progress and provide status of translation requests.

• Assign work to our vendor, including budget, schedule and briefing, and ensuring that reference materials and files are checked, prepared, and handed off timely.

• Process vendor payments, from PO to invoice.

• Follow-up on the Localization team's bandwidth to plan for capacity.

• Liaise with internal teams to build and maintain good relationships, assess their needs and align on projects and timelines.

• Assist in basic troubleshooting of technical and operational L10N issues, escalating their resolution properly, as needed.

• Collaborate with the team to develop and facilitate meetings and other initiatives, as needed.
