URM Stores, Inc. is looking for a talented Retail Merchandising Training Manager to join our ever-growing team. Our Retail Merchandising Training Manager is responsible for providing member retailers with the assistance of proper planning and product placement for new and existing items at member store locations. This position is responsible for helping, coaching, and training a group up to 6 team leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Communicate and coordinate with Team Leads for store visits and scheduling of projects.
• Conduct monthly sales meetings with Team Leads and track the process and execution of projects.
• Administer, coach, and develop Team Leads and Retail Merchandising staff.
• Perform store re-visits to identify monthly new item acceptance and create outline based on findings.
• Perform proper training initiatives on all Team Leads and Retail Merchandisers on product placement tools and practices.
• Organize supplementary store level tasks to be conducted at time of Member Owner store visits.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
• Some overnight travel required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting/Finance, or another related field and/or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 3-5 years Retail Grocery/General Merchandising experience.

• Salary range for this position is $30 - $33/hour DOE.
