Job Description
As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members on methods, processes, and procedures to anticipate, identify, respond to, and recover from short- and long-term disruptions to business processes and critical technology assets. In this role, you will train teams to understand how the business and technology recognize existing and future risks, and capture strategies to mitigate impacts to Fannie Mae. In addition, you will advise on methods that integrate risk management disciplines, with a strategic focus on risk identification, documentation of recovery plans, and testing of documented recovery and/or mitigation strategies.

The ERS - Resiliency - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Assess risks to business operations and advises on how to manage and minimize disruption.
- Advise on contingency plans to deal with unexpected emergencies.
- Anticipates and reacts to expected and unexpected change in ways that enable the organization to survive, thrive, and evolve.
- Identify and advise on operational indicators that give management a view of current levels of resilience.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 6+ years of related experience
- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing (specifically AWS, Google, Azure)
- The group of skills related to Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
- Skilled in supporting complex and geographically-dispersed IT infrastructure and applications in order to optimize resiliency
- Experience architecting and implementing resilient cloud solutions
- Experience in creating technical strategies around recovery, attacks, or failure
- Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers and building relationship
- Collective capabilities for leadership, influencing leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings.
- Developing and implementing innovatative solutions technical solutions. resources to support portions of projects and new initiatives
- Identify organizational roadblocks that limit team productivity and quality, and provide feedback to management, so we can improve, innovate, and move forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Software experience; Project, Jira, Teams, Microsoft and PowerPoint
