Description

JOB RESPONSABILITIES: 

 

  • Utilize MIG and/or TIG welding techniques to visible parts of the furniture and the unseen structure. 

  • Cosmetically grind steel assemblies. 

  • Assist in jig and fixture set-up. 

  • Perform and hold others accountable for maintenance of welding torches and machines. 

  • Maintain an organized tool board and use appropriate PPE and safety awareness. 

  • Perform daily maintenance and cleanup of machines and work area 

  • Train Weld operators 

  • Lead the Weld team by example and encourage efficiency. 

  • Ensure the safety of your designated area and the team members present. 

  • Escalate production concerns to Management when appropriate. 

  • Work in and with other departments as needed. 

JOB KNOWLEDGE: 

 

  • Manufacturing experience required 

  • How to work in a required sequence to ensure alignment of the production schedule. 

  • Is expected to have proficiency in MIG and TIG Weld techniques 

  • All other procedures and policies as assigned by production leadership
