The Role: General Laborer
 

Position Summary
 

This position will be working in a manufacturing facility, producing quality work with machines and by hand as efficiently as possible. It will be in a team atmosphere working as
a team member.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

This position General Laborer will be primarily responsible for assisting in Finishing and Fulfillment Departments. Some additional responsibilities on
occasion will be assisting on larger machines and/or other departments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Large Machines as a Helper include:
  • Die Cutters etc.
• Hand finishing, assembly, packing.
• Have the ability to read and understand all written and verbal instructions pertaining to the job ticket.
• Perform quality checks as required
• Utilize Automated Equipment whenever possible
• Responsible for accurate counting, assembling and packaging of completed jobs.
• Make sure all areas are clear and clean at the end of each job, with tools and supplies that were used returned to their storage locations.

 

Qualifications
 

Education, Skills, Experience & Abilities:
• 1 – 2 years’ experience is beneficial;
• Reading, writing and communicating clearly are skills needed for this position
• Must meet physical demands of standing, squatting, lifting, and reaching for the entire shift

 

Physical Demands
This job operates in a production environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as Presses and forklifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; drive; and see.
