Mid-Level Frontend Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Pioneering Evolution is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Frontend Developer to build interactive, accessible, and mission-driven UI components using Angular. This role contributes to the delivery of user-centered, secure, and compliant software by following established design and architectural standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reusable frontend solutions that enhance user experience and maintain audit readiness. Other key responsibilities include:

• Develop modular, reusable Angular components aligned with platform architecture and mission objectives.

• Apply test-driven development (TDD) and component-driven development (CDD) principles to support maintainable and high-quality code.

• Integrate UI features with RESTful APIs and manage frontend application state effectively.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to ensure consistency, responsiveness, and performance.

• Support accessibility compliance by adhering to WCAG and Section 508 standards.

• Contribute to documentation of UI logic, components, and design standards.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience using Angular and TypeScript to build modern, responsive web applications.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile and cross-functional development teams.

• Must be available to work full-time and on-site in the Washington D.C. metro area.

• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance are required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working on secure or compliance-driven software systems.

• Interest in performance optimization, frontend testing strategies, and usability enhancements.

• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines in frontend environments.
