OR Radiology Tech Team Lead

40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Second Shift (Mon-Fri 1100-1930)

Sign on Bonus Eligible for Experienced Qualified Candidates

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator, the technologist performs imaging exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside, ensuring high-quality images for Radiologist review. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, following department protocols, continuously monitoring patients during exams, and practicing radiation safety for both patient and self. The technologist assists Radiologists when needed and manages daily workflow, including assuming charge and decision-making duties in the absence of the Coordinator and Team Leader. Proficiency in EPIC and IMPAX systems is required to complete and manage studies accurately. The role involves problem-solving skills to efficiently address and resolve issues, collaborating with leadership when necessary, and reporting equipment malfunctions promptly. Strong communication with the Coordinator, Clinical Manager, and Director about ongoing issues and resolutions is essential to maintain smooth department operations.

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited school for Radiologic Technology

KBMIRT Required

ARRT Required within 90 days of hire

BCLS within 90 days of hire
