The Cardiac Telemetry and Medical/Surgical Unit cares for patients who require extensive ADL assistance, are high-risk or have various medical conditions. As an RN, you will utilize your nursing skills to enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and the lives of patients and their families. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00PM – 7:30AM or 7:00AM – 7:30PM.  

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Deliver patient care utilizing the case management principles, the nursing process and knowledge from various healthcare disciplines.  

• Complete ongoing assessments, recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.  

• Develop and update goals, involve patients and families in developing plans of care and serve as a patient advocate.  

• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes, contribute to the improvement of care and participate in the quality improvement process. 

• Delegate tasks/assignments, serve as a resource person, pursue ongoing education and specialty certifications and maintain applicable certification/licensure
