Table Games Dealer School for Blackjack (Horseshoe Bossier)

Job Description

Horseshoe Bossier City is now offering a Dealer School for internal and external candidates with the opportunity to become Table Games Blackjack Dealers. The program is designed for internal employees outside the Table Games Department and external candidates to learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful in Blackjack.  Class instruction will be 60 hours over 3 weeks.

The trainee in this position must successfully complete a pre-screen interview, as well as a training course. Immediately following the training course, the trainee must also pass an audition prior to a job being offered by Horseshoe Bossier City Table Games Department.

Job Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills
• Must attend 90% of training classes
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Louisiana Gaming License 
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be at least 21 years old by the completion of dealer school 

DEALER SCHOOL IS A PAID POSITION ($12.00/hr) AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT AS A DEALER WITH HORSESHOE BOSSIER CITY.  IF OFFERED A POSITION, ONLY PART-TIME STATUS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
