About the Role:
We currently have an opportunity available in the Urban Projects team for a Project Delivery Lead based in Brooklyn. The role will be responsible for the delivery of complex, high volume Customer Initiated Augmentation Works and acts as the centre point for meeting the needs of the customer and our business.
Dependent on the successful candidate, this role may have the opportunity to take part in a secondment opportunity in the Large Customer Offer Team within DCP.

What you’ll deliver:
- Using high levels of negotiation and communication to develop and maintain the successful delivery of Customer Initiated Augmentation Works
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure successful delivery of all Customer Initiated Augmentation Works (CIAW) projects ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements
- Manage stakeholder expectations with a focus on reaching negotiable outcomes within a timely manner and ensuring network capacity, safety and commercial factors are all met
- Ensure complex customer project targets are achieved and any project risks are managed and corrective action is taken to address any project risks or overruns
- Ensure all contractors and contractor activities comply with legislative, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Be a point of contact to provide technical advice on projects to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the preparation of project costings and segmentation of project work into specific project activities to comply with Network Customer Policy
To succeed in this role you’ll have:
- Certificate IV in ESI Power Systems/Associate Diploma of Electrical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Electrical industry experience such as field experience or proven experience in complex electrical network extension projects
- Experience in applying project management or program management principles
- Knowledge and understanding of VESI design is highly desirable
- An ability to establish good working relationships with developers, architects, electrical contractors, builders and consultants
