Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for Product and Services Quality Manager (Level K) to join our Delivery Team located in Victorville, California.

The 737 delivery team is looking for a First Line Quality Manager to support return to delivery. This is a fast-paced flight line and paint position. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 quality inspectors.  They will be releasing aircraft and preforming Quality Management Systems (QMS) oversight activities site wide.  This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting offsite activities and supporting onsite manufacturing managers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
  • Provide education, coaching and review of Quality Management System.
  • Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships and communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing/maintenance.
  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Repairman Certificate or the ability to obtain based on eligibility requirements C.F.R. § 65.101MRB.
  • Have or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
  • 3+ years of experience working on the 737 Program.
  • 3+ years of experience with flight line.
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft MRO.
