Project Scheduler

Job Overview:
Project Controls Scheduler needed to work at client site to create and maintain site schedules. This position will report to the Senior Scheduler and Work Package Planners, Superintendents, and Site Engineers to develop schedules.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Read and understand scope or work and contract documents to build out schedule framework and work breakdown structure.
- Interpret estimate data and Work Packages to resource load level 3 and 4 schedules.
- Structure and Maintain data in P6 to link schedule activities to Advanced work Packages and Cost/Progress systems.
- Update schedules for accurate progress measurement and remaining duration either directly or with earned value tracking system data.
- Critical path analysis.
- Baseline Schedule analysis.
- Input and document scope change activities into the schedule.
- Attend weekly planning meetings with customer/ client responsible to discuss current progress and future work look-a heads.
- Create schedule recovery "what if" analyses.
- Formulate detailed plans for project completion integrating multiple plans and schedules for all craft personnel into a Master Schedule.
- Track significant information, progress and results.
- Coordinate with Site and Project Controls management to track results (KPI's) and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform schedule comparison analysis.
- Re-baseline and restore baseline.
- Resource level.
- Perform Monte Carlo risk analysis to create risk adjusted schedule incorporating risk workshop/register items.
- Provide reporting and graphing of progress against early/late curve data with manpower histograms by discipline, area, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of scheduling experience with Primavera P6, preferably in an onsite capacity.
- Must be able to create and maintain accurate schedules from planned work packages and detailed quantity take-off estimates.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent Preferred
- Preferred experience working in an EVMS environment.
