Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Airframe Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide field-level support for the MQ-25 Stingray unmanned aerial refueling system in Patuxent River, Maryland.

The FSR will be the customer-facing technical lead for airframe maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofits at fleet sites and contractor facilities. This role ensures safe, compliant operation of MQ-25 airframe systems and provides direct technical feedback to engineering and program management.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary on-site technical liaison between the customer (operational unit) and the program engineering/support teams for MQ-25 airframe issues.
  • Perform and/or supervise airframe maintenance inspections, scheduled servicing, removal/installation of major structural components, and system re configurations per technical orders and maintenance manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose airframe structural, mechanical, and interface anomalies; recommend corrective actions and monitor completion.
  • Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, retrofits and field change implementations; validate quality of work and ensure configuration control.
  • Execute and document acceptance checks, post-maintenance functional checks, and return-to-service inspections.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentoring to customer maintenance personnel on procedures, safe practices, and best maintenance techniques.
  • Create and maintain clear technical reports, discrepancy reports, maintenance actions, and status updates for government and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics for spares, tools, special equipment, and technical data required for field tasks.
  • Support fleet health monitoring, reliability investigations, and root cause analyses; implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Participate in safety reviews, technical interchange meetings, and program readiness events.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with maintenance and tactical fixed wing aircraft.
  • Minimum 5 years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and technical orders.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in military flight operation, flight test engineering operations and/or flight test maintenance operations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing aircraft, engine system and operating procedures in all of the following: Hydraulic systems, Pneumatics systems, Airframe Structures, Landing Gear and Flight control surfaces, Fire protections systems, Fuel systems, and Exhaust systems.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on military fixed wing aircraft.
