Overview
Presbyterian Healthcare is seeking a Wound Treatment Assistant to provide essential support to providers and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities include preparing patients and treatment areas according to established patient preparation guidelines. Assist providers with treatments and procedures under supervision. Support clerical functions, including scheduling, referrals, transcribing orders, prior authorizations, and EMR in-basket management. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked patient care environment. Ensure smooth patient flow and clinic operations

This role reports to the Clinic Manager and is ideal for someone with attention to detail, clinical support skills, and a commitment to patient care excellence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior Healthcare experience within Wound Care preferred
- Successful completion of Clinical Certified Medical Assistant program within the first 12 months of hire
- Successful completion of Wound Treatment Associate certificate within 12 months of hireBLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required
- Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (i.e. BLS)
- Completes all Organizational and Department-Specific competency training/requirements within specified timeframe
- Maintains current knowledge base in skin/wound care and departmental policies
