Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
• Ensuring that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances
• Ensuring that surfaces are free of food debris and maintained in a hygienic condition
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recycling materials
• Emptying trash bins and ensuring proper waste separation
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks
• Washing, peeling, or chopping vegetables, as directed by the kitchen team
• Collaborating with chefs and kitchen personnel to maintain a smooth workflow
• Communicating effectively with other kitchen team members

Core Competencies

• Fluent in English and Italian is a must. Has to be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
• Can handle the pressure of a high volume, high energy venue
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by kitchen staff and hotel team members
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
• Maintains a high standard of personal appearance and grooming
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
