Position: Electrical Project Designer (EIT)

Job Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID

We are recruiting an Electrical Project Designer (EIT) to work in our Coeur d’Alene, Idaho office to provide municipal and commercial system designs. Project types include water and wastewater pumping and treatment, SCADA and telemetry systems, street, pedestrian and roadway lighting, airports, commercial office buildings, parks and recreation, educational, healthcare, and financial facilities.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimating
• Perform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies
• Develop one-lines, plan drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings and schematics
• Interacts with contractors, clients, and facility operators
• Develop equipment specifications and construction specifications
• Assist with construction management providing submittal review and reports and observation
• Work and collaborate with the firm’s other engineering disciplines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, Master’s degree is a plus
• Passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering examination
• Ability to obtain technical information from various sources to implement designs and offer solutions
• Ability to develop and communicate technical information to clients in written and verbal form

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
