Job Description
We are looking for a strong Data Engineer to create new, modern data ingestion pipelines using the latest technologies like AWS Athena, Lambdas, Python, and Spark. You'll be working on data pipelines and tools to provide the underlying data ingestion framework.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of IT experience.
- Experience with Frontrunner.
- Interest and Knowledge on process automations and improvements, identifying and automating repetitive content.
- Experience handling Data engineering operations / enhancement projects with a technical-consultant focus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark ,S3, Lambda, EMR, Glue, Athena, EC2, IAM, Redshift, DMS, Airflow, Jenkins, Snowflake.
- Experience with end-to-end data solutions (ingest, storage, integration, processing, access) on AWS.
- Experience migrating data from traditional relational database systems to AWS relational databases such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, and Redshift.
- Background and experience in data engineering/analytics.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud DB platforms (Snowflake is preferred), building data pipelines & SQL, and Python for Data Engineering.
- Experience with performing, supporting and leading all aspects of Data Engineering strategy.
- Skilled in root cause analysis.
- Ability to ensure effective data pipeline engineering, deployment, ongoing operations, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage and perform data operations and data engineering requirements including automation and optimization.
- Highly motivated, a self-starter, ability to work in a fast faced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Creative problem solver and highly collaborative teammate who is comfortable working as a key contributor.
- Certification in Data Engineering and/or Cloud Platforms strongly preferred. Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present findings to Senior Management.
Additional Information
Location: Atlanta, GA.
This is a full-time, hybrid position, and candidates are expected to go to office 4 times a month.
