Hiring Salary Maximum: $180,000

The Vice President of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of Eurasia Foundation. This role involves process optimization, team management, and collaboration across various departments to drive the organization's mission forward. The Vice President of Operations will ensure that all support functions are staffed with the right resources; that policies concerning operations’ functions are standardized, streamlined, and automated; that all policies and processes are centrally located, understood by staff and updated regularly; and that systems are documented in workflows and/or manuals. 

  

Essential Functions 

  

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals. 
• Lead and manage a team of operational staff, including human resources, finance, administration, and IT. 
• Oversee the development and execution of operational policies, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between program delivery, finance, business development, communications, human resources and other departments. 
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of operational processes and recommend improvements. 
• Identify and implement technological solutions to optimize operational efficiency and data management. 
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, learning, and continuous improvement within the organization. 
• Prepare and present regular operational reports to the President and Board of Trustees. 
• Stay informed about trends and best practices in nonprofit operations and management. 

  

Education  

 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field. 

  

Qualifications/Experience 

  

• Proven experience (15+ years) in organizational operations in the field of global development, with a track record of successful leadership and team management. 
• Experience with process optimization and change management. 

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate vision into actionable plans. 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 
• Outstanding organizational skills. 
• Technologically savvy with experience in implementing and managing operational systems and software. 
• Interest in Eurasia Foundation’s work to support citizen engagement and transparent governance. 
• A demonstrable commitment to Eurasia Foundation’s values: inclusivity, integrity, innovation and respect. 
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
