The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $225,000 and $250,000 per year*

Role Description:

 

The candidate will be an integral member of the Global Markets Asset Finance team. The desk focuses on providing tailored secured lending and securitizing solution for clients within the ABS sector. The desk works with originators and aggregators to structure secured lending facilities and help clients tap securitization markets and other secured capital markets for lower funding costs and capital efficiency by structuring marketable asset-backed securities.

• Conduct financing and securitization analysis on transactions across variety of asset classes within ABS such as Digital Infrastructure, Unsecured Consumer, and Transportation sectors
• Review transaction from initial stage including pitching, client meetings, due-diligence structure, collateral, and legal enforcements
• Prepare investment presentation for the business and risk committee for financings and securitizations
• Lead the execution of capital markets and financing transactions across variety of asset classes within ABS
• Prepare marketing materials, term sheets, and rating agency presentation
• Perform portfolio and historical data performance analysis
• Coordinate with the structuring team to develop transaction models
• Conduct market research for various asset classes
• Coordinate with finance, risk, and operations team to ensure smooth closing process
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Assist with research and develop investment ideas for new business areas

 

Desired Candidate profile:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related fields
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in ABS banking group
• Experience with warehouse or term loan facility for ABS assets such as Digital Infrastructure, Unsecured Consumer, and Transportation
• Execution experience for the capital markets take out of ABS warehouse facilities
• Understanding of legal documents related to financing and capital markets
• Understanding of financing and capital markets models
• Relationship with issuers and investors is a plus
• Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including experience, previous job title, knowledge of the convertible product and ability to produce on Nomura’s platform.
