This is an exciting time in our history, and by creating a new and ambitious path, it will provide a unique opportunity for us all, both professionally and personally.<br/><br/>Join us as a Founder of our ‘new’ Sandoz!<p><br/> </p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>Your key responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p>We are searching for a <b>Senior Scientist</b> (d/f/m) who would join our team working with <b>small molecules</b>.<br/> </p><p><b>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Design, plan, perform and document scientific experiments as well as analysis and interpretation of the results to drive development and validation of analytical methods for solid and liquid dosage forms</li><li>Actively support product development with scientific input and generate scientific documents to hand over to internal and/or external partners</li><li>Report, interpret and present scientific/technical results to management</li><li>Participate in technical teams and fulfill assigned project tasks and responsibilities</li><li>Support generation of international registration documents</li><li>Ensuring adherence to requirements of cGMP, pharmacopoeias, health authorities and company quality system</li><li>Actively participate in knowledge exchange; train and mentor associate scientists and technicians, temporary employees, and employees under training/education</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll bring to the role: </b></p><ul><li><span>University degree in chemistry or pharmacy or related science with focus on analytical chemistry or equivalent</span></li><li><span>5+ years of experience in pharma industry, preferably in analytical development, under GMP requirements</span></li><li>Strong background in development and validation of analytical methods, with hands-on experience in dissolution and chromatographic methods</li><li>A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical development requirements, analytical technological questions as well as scientific and process-oriented thinking</li><li>Passion for supporting the international scientific team in solving pharmaceutical challenge</li><li><span>Strength in organizational skills and proactive working, hands on attitude as well as excellent communication and team orientation are essential</span></li><li><span>Proficient in English (written and spoken), German is a plus</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desirable requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Audit experience highly appreciated</li><li>Knowledge of dissolution apparatus USP4, IVIVC and QC dissolution method development</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Imagine what you could do here at Sandoz!</b></p><p>In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 58,199.96/year (on a full time basis).
