Senior Accountant (Hybrid)

This position is 2 days remote and 3 days on-site
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing insights into variances and trends.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate and provide support during internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and provide recommendations to management.
• Continuously assess accounting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years accounting experience
