Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Gamete and Cryo-Digita

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) serves as a trusted leader in the CooperSurgical division of CooperCompanies.  Reporting to the Director FP&A Fertility, this position will be the lead finance business partner to the VP of Donor Gametes and the Global Head of Cryo & Digital Services.  The position will be accountable for leading business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities for Gametes and Cryo & Digital Services.  This is a critical and highly visible role requiring strong leadership skills, sharp financial acumen, and a solid business sense.

• Function as a key business partner to the VP of Donor Gametes, the Global Head of Cryo & Digital Services and the Fertility leadership team providing support and advice on all financial elements of the business.
• Partner with the Business Unit Team members to help identify key opportunities to improve financial performance and grow the business profitably.
• Lead annual budget, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and long-range strategic plan process for the Gamete and Cryo/Digital businesses.
• Compare planned to actual financial performance, interpret results and variances, and provide guidance to commercial team. 
• Partner with business leads to translate strategic initiatives and operational goals into a financial outlook.
• Work closely with department heads and business leads to provide transparency and insights into the financial performance of their business.
• Perform special analysis such as return on investment, pricing analytics, etc. that facilitates management decision-making.
• Support strategic business planning process and new business / investment opportunities with business case and return on investment analyses.
• Build detailed financial, scenario-based models to evaluate investment priorities and potential alternatives.
• Help drive business decisions by providing actionable financial reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis.

• Proven ability to effectively scrutinize and challenge assumptions and interpret the strategy and priorities of the organization in financial terms.
• 7+ years of finance/FP&A experience.
• Bachelor's degree in financial discipline. MBA and/or CPA preferred but not essential.
• Experience creating and presenting to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to communicate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as team-player, including complex and dynamic teams.
• Ability to maintain demanding timeliness
