About the role

As the Vice President of Program Services Operations, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional operational and customer support to our Program Agents. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the team that supports MGA program premium registration bordereaux feeds, as well as oversight for Chubb Agency systems. You will ensure that your team effectively collaborates with Program Agents and Chubb business partners to identify and resolve processing, training, and system-related issues.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing strategic solutions and interim workarounds to maintain a stable, accessible, and efficient production pipeline for our agents. You will champion electronic premium feed initiatives, ensuring that your team is well-versed in the premium feed flow from Program Agents to Genius uploads, and you will oversee the management of assigned premium feed arrangements.

You will cultivate strong relationships with agents, Chubb IT, and various business partners to guarantee that all premium feed transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, with error corrections completed prior to monthly account closing cycles. Your expertise in Chubb’s legacy systems—CLIPS, Web UI/Genius, Workers Comp (WCS), and Fastrack—will position you as a key resource for product and processing inquiries.

As a proactive leader, you will guide your team in researching and identifying potential system issues that could impact agents, ensuring timely communication and resolution of these issues in collaboration with Chubb IT. You will serves as a leader in CLIPS Open Problem Meetings and Steering Committee Meetings, prioritizing system issues and advocating for the needs of all Program Agents.

You will oversee both scheduled and unscheduled system release efforts, including testing, issue identification, validation, and the creation of necessary training materials. Your leadership will also extend to providing CLIPS system demonstrations and webcasts for existing and prospective agents.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance rating, rules, and forms, particularly Insurance Service Office (ISO) rating.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • A background in operations or IT, with experience supporting both internal and external customer bases.
  • Familiarity with data upload and download processes via various feed formats.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processing issues and develop detailed resolution plans.
  • Experience in presenting training materials to external customers through webinars or direct training sessions.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports as well as leading across functions on mult-disciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on operations and program management.
  • Management experience overseeing support teams or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of CLIPS, Genius, WCS, and Fastrack systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Chubb’s Property, GL, Auto, Crime, and Inland product filings and rate plans.
  • Experience working with vendor systems on a product level, including implementation of forms, rates, and filings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, business units, and all levels of management and Program Agents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • A college degree or equivalent work experience.
