Senior Business Intelligence Developer

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to create scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in BI tools, data warehousing, and SQL, along with a deep understanding of data architecture and ETL processes

What will you do?

• Own BI Development: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Define & Manage KPI Metrics: Develop and maintain game performance, player behavior, and business health KPIs to drive decision-making.
• Analytics Enablement: Work closely with operations, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure data accessibility and usability.
• Automate Repetitive Tasks: Develop scripts to automate data processing, reporting, and alerts for critical KPIs.
• Optimize Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with data engineers to improve data pipelines, warehouse efficiency, and query performance.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with game developers, product managers, marketing, and finance to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Enforce Data Governance: Enforce best practices for data accuracy, consistency, and reporting.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or data engineering, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and workflow optimization.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik).
• Experience in automating repetitive processes using Python, dbt, or Apache Airflow.
• Experience using data warehousing tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Familiarity with gaming metrics (DAU, MAU, ARPU, retention, churn, LTV).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Years of Experience:

• 4+ years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, market research, segmentation, data modeling
• 4+ years’ experience with SQL. Able to query data from various data sources. Strong understanding of relational databases
• 4+ years’ experience in business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, SAS, R)
