Sr. Systems Engineer - EUX

Position Summary

The Senior End-User Experience (EUX) Systems Engineer works with the EUX Engineering Manager to drive improvements to the modern workplace experience at Huber. Define and drive process improvement, apply and adopt the use of automation and other modern cloud solutions.
The role works closely with vendors and suppliers to define equipment standards for PCs as well as mobile devices based on Microsoft Windows, iOS, or Android (but not limited to). As a member of the EUX Engineering Team, this position will engineer, certify, and manage the system management tools that deploy software and business applications to end-user devices. Driving a self-service approach for end-users rounds up this profile. In addition to the daily Systems Engineer tasks and responsibilities, this position may act as an internal escalation point for the EUX Engineering team. This role will be responsible for evaluating current processes and tools used throughout the organization, looking for opportunities where innovation and process enhancement could improve the overall End User Experience.

Candidate Profile

• Driven and self-motivated Senior Windows Systems Engineer & Administrator, who has a proven track record of managing endpoint management solution but is also ready to embrace the challenges of other cloud-based technologies with a focus on automation.
• Ability to identify areas of improvement to propose automation through scripting or off the shelf solutions.
• Deliver a world class user-experience by understanding user`s expectations and drive continuous improvements as they relate to processes and services. Continuously support and challenge third-party providers to meet and exceed their targets.
• The Senior EUX Systems Engineer will be the specialists in anything, and everything related to endpoint Configuration Management.
• This position will lead all aspects of the day-to-day management and health of our internal end user devices by managing the different global endpoint Management environments to keep devices and applications up to date, under pre-defined compliance standards, and aligned with modern standards.
• Define or participate in projects that drive operational efficiencies, added features or self -service capabilities to the employee base.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the operational aspects of system management tools used for PC as well as mobile device management.
• Manage the operational aspects of end-user's PCs and mobile devices connected to Huber business networks (excluding Process Control Networks and other OT networks)
• Define and execute global baseline configurations for end user devices using endpoint management tools as well as Active Directory group policies / Intune Policies for workstations.
• Global Desktop application lifecycle management and Application Deployment.
• Build and maintain Global Windows 10/11 disk Image and software packaging.
• Provide Level 3 Support to the End User Experience (EUX) Operations Team (Desktop Support).
• Patch Management for workstation clients and servers.
• Crafting and updating technical documentation as required.
• Deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Bitlocker encryption on Windows devices.
• Create solutions that promote system stability and business continuity in the event of disaster recovery.
• Learn and implement new cutting-edge technologies and deliver on the transition to modern management tools.
