Purpose

Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.

As a member of the Foodservice Team it is your responsibility to be a good team member and take initiative to assist others as need to insure we provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.

• Provide dynamic, hands-on assistance across various culinary stations including pantry, cook, grill, salad bar, hot line, and catering prep, following management directives to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow established recipes, portion controls, and service standards to ensure consistency and quality across all meal periods.
• Support daily food service operations and special functions such as corporate meetings and catered events, providing flexibility and assistance for successful culinary services.
• Demonstrate adaptability by responding positively to schedule changes, special assignments, and varying operational needs. Accomplish additional responsibilities as indicated by management.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Cooking experience with knowledge of how to prepare eggs, sauces, casseroles and sandwiches. Volume production and batch cooking is a must.
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills with proven track record in providing excellent guest service.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written recipes and instructions for menu items.
• Knowledge of the Foodservice menu system, knowledge of the GFS ordering system and the ability to order using the GFS computer ordering system.
• Cashiering experience.
