JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the leadership team in the planning, development, organization, and operation of the department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5 years relevant healthcare experience in an acute care setting preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Collects, compiles, and maintains data and performs analytical reviews, research and other related duties.
  2. Provides primary support to leadership and assists in managing a variety of projects.
  3. Assists in the preparation of presentations.
  4. Displays working knowledge of the business operations of the department.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective oral, written, listening, and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Delegation skills
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Ability to synthesize and prioritize knowledge
  • Medical terminology required
