About This Role:
Role Overview: The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Public Affairs Office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the government Visual Information (VI) team lead in planning, organizing, and administering the visual information program.
- Assist with the identification, distribution, and re-balancing visual information workload and tasks among team members in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
- Lead teams developing and implementing design concepts for critical, complex projects
- Collaborating with others to identify communication objectives
- Monitor and report on the status and progress of visual information work.
The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Experience providing visual arts/media production methods and techniques guidance to leadership and other visual arts specialists.
- Experience developing original designs, concepts or visual styles for information/education/training presentation materials, publications and exhibits.
