Weston Solutions is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Environmental Scientist under our highly successful US EPA START program. The selected candidate will be provided with a wide range of learning opportunities and field experience to broaden their professional skills, while working on unique assignments for our strategic Client. Our multidisciplinary team participates in a variety of projects under the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs, including hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments.Travel is required mainly throughout New England. Location: Billerica, MA Responsibilities:

- Project management
- Extensive client contact
- Leading field activities, data interpretation, report preparation
- Other technical support activities.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Geology is required.
- 0–5 years of experience with direct on-scene hazardous substances and oil releases and spills is required.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are needed.
- Solid organizational skills, as well as the ability to take ownership and accountability, are necessary.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and anticipate team requirements is important.
- A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, or a willingness to obtain a CDL.
- The successful candidate will also have a strong desire to support the mission of protecting public health and the environment.
