AVP, Integration Business Products

Provide product and organizational leadership, strategic direction, prioritization and administration for embedded solution delivery teams providing capabilities in alignment with priorities specific to a business line(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for oversight, leadership and team management over a portfolio of domain-specific capabilities and infrastructure for business products across the System; Develop future leaders, inspire personal development and foster a positive team culture in alignment with San Francisco and ITS strategic goals. Coach and recruit the platform leadership team in accordance with organizational values, objectives, and leadership goals.

  • Lead the portfolio performance and align with business area objectives: drive innovation within the teams, advance core strategic focus areas, and prioritize team resources for high impact value for the Federal Reserve

  • Drive and facilitate portfolio management processes to ensure strategic alignment, project prioritization and resolution management to competing project priorities and resource demands.

  • Develop working models to optimize demand through structured, strategic rationalization and alignment of redundant business capabilities; Champion agile standard processes, “automate everything” and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Modernize and innovate the solutions in partnership with and in anticipation of business line leadership strategies with a focus on solving business problems.

  • Develop strong communication protocols to provide key partners timely assessment and visibility of portfolio performance, issues, achievements and risks commensurate with client needs; Represent the District in strategic business line partnerships.

  • Provide delivery team leadership, strategic guidance and recommendations to ITS senior leadership; communicate long term vs short term opportunities, risks and implications paired with business justification to support recommendation for action.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Champion strategy, architecture, research and standard methodologies to technical teams, business customers and internal ITS senior management

  • Lead or participate in Twelfth District and System IT critical initiatives; regularly collaborate with executives from these areas, customers, and other executives

Technical education/degree:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Typical work experience:

Typically has 12+ years of business/IT and strategy/management experience; requires 8+ years of progressive people and business management experience

Typical training/technical skills:

  • Strong understanding of the hybrid cloud integration domain

  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts and SaaS offerings

  • Experience in leading new product development, business development, customer requirements and design specifications, developing robust communication platforms and leading a team of diverse skills to deliver world-class products

  • Experience in developing and ability to understand the larger picture strategies

  • Significant portfolio/program management experience including establishing and efficiently leading work intake processes and ensure standardization across the portfolio of work

  • Validated leader, coach and motivator of successful teams by providing candid feedback with a focus on development, accountability, values; and promotes inclusion and diversity

  • Advanced experience using agile methodologies to deliver enterprise platforms

Base Salary Range: Min: $183,100 - Mid: $240,900 - Max: $296,500 (Location: San Francisco)
