Position Summary

The Golf Tournament Barback supports bartenders by ensuring bar stations remain fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout the event. This role is essential in maintaining fast and efficient beverage service for guests, sponsors, and VIP attendees during high-volume tournament operations.

 

This is a seasonal role from February 9, 2026 and will end on June 9, 2026. 

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $23.50

 

This position will remain open until May 15, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Stock bar stations with beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, cups, napkins, and garnishes
  • Refill ice bins and restock supplies throughout the tournament shift
  • Assist bartenders with maintaining smooth and efficient service during peak times
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including wiping counters and removing trash
  • Break down boxes, remove empty bottles/cans, and keep storage areas organized
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar areas before and after service
  • Transport beverage inventory and supplies to designated bar locations
  • Ensure supplies are properly stored and rotated to maintain quality
  • Follow all alcohol service policies and safety procedures
  • Report low inventory, damaged items, or issues to supervisor

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs (cases of beer, liquor, ice, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and long shifts as required by tournament schedules
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
  • Prior barback, food & beverage, or event experience preferred but not required
  • Must meet minimum age requirement to work around alcohol (based on state law)
