Job Description
Our Sunnyvale, CA Lab is looking for a detail-oriented Production Control coordinator to provide administrative support to the Microscopy Advanced Imaging group and our team of scientists to reliably deliver timely client data.
Responsibilities include:
- Administrative support to the scientists, engineers and their clients.
- Log and track receipt and shipment of all samples.
- Quickly identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays.
- Label and store samples in accordance with documented procedures.
- Support multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.
- May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.
Schedule: 3pm-12am, Mondays to Fridays
This role is located in Sunnyvale, CA. While we are unable to provide relocation assistance, we encourage local candidates to apply.
Qualifications
This position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). All considered applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR:
- U.S. Citizen
- U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”)
- Political Asylee or Refugee
Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory and materials management.
- Understanding of lead times, capacity, and resource allocation.
- Work independently under time constraints and ability to handle a multitude of tasks efficiently.
- Integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google docs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Additional Information
Compensation is aligned with market standards for the region and tailored to individual qualifications and experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
- Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products
- Ability to sit for periods of time
- Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
- Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
